Mimic3 skill install is failing

Hello everyone,

i was to try the new mimic3 ttl on my picroft with raspberry pi 4b.
But it’s raising every time following error up, when i enter:

pip install --upgrade mycroft-mimic3-tts

Does anyone have an idea to resolve this issue ?

At this point, Mimic3 has basically been abandoned. I don’t think there are any maintainers left to address these questions. Piper has become the defacto replacement for Mimic3.

You may also want to give OVOS a try. Actively maintained, has plugins for Piper and others, largely compatible with Mycroft skills. Active community support. :slightly_smiling_face:
