Progress with local TTS

Some progress this weekend - the message bus is still not working but the websockets code is using the latest (v15) - I’ll keep chugging.

Mimic3 has been retired and piper seems to be working and performs fairly well - that was refreshingly easy comparatively:

This was on a Raspberry Pi 5.

P.S. I cannot log on to the OVOS forum - “Use Google” forces me to create a new user, and “Forgot password” allows me to reset it, but the new one doesn’t work :frowning:
