Audio problem with ReSpeaker 2-Mics pHAT

Hi Mycroft

I am having problems getting audio to work on Mycroft with a ReSpeaker 2-Mics pHAT attachment. I get this message when it boots up. Couldn’t allocate mixer Alsaaudio error (unable to findmixer control master 0)

I have done ‘arecord -d 10 test. wav’ (The command in the documentation ‘arecord -d 10 -o test. wav’ does not work). and ‘aplay test.wav’. It records and plays back sound ok.

Mycroft picks up the wake word when I use it, and ouputs a message, but does not speak to me.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi there @aaron57 have you tried running alsamixer to try and select your playback device?
