I’m new to AI, I found my way here after getting an old gaming machine out of the attic, attempting to get Windows up to date and ending up with Linux on it instead, but I put it away again because I had no use for it.
I remember seeing Mycroft in the Snap store, which wasn’t installing yet and when it occurred to me that Alexa hasn’t learned anything new in what feels like forever I looked up Mycroft again.
It sounds ideal to have an AI I can have some control of and open source means more developers, which means that one day it could overtake the mainstream AI.

My goal is to have a customisable AI that works for my car.
I have a long way to go, but hey, it’s a goal.

I look forward to learning and I hope I can eventually contribute.
