There is an older thread where a community user implemented a [proof of concept for face recognition on Mycroft](https://community.openconversational.ai/t/prrof-of-concept-face-recognition-on-mycroft/8256).

Another user (don’t remember the name) implemented a face detection for Mycroft activation replacing the wake-word.
