how are you writing your image? raspberry pi imager I assume?
Are you changing settings? the ovos user has sudo privileges without a pw by default
You should not have to manually edit a file at all. I wonder if the PHAL plugin does not work well with a “hidden” network?

I installed OVOS on my Raspberry Pi 5 and was able to get mycroft to respond to queries. But once I rebooted my Pi, I don’t know how to get ovos to run again without running the installer. What terminal commands would I enter to get it to run? I’m a newbie to RP and OVOS.
